OUR MINISTRIES
In the Christian Medical Association of Cameroon, we believe in that God has bestowed in each person several gifts by his grace. Every of such gift is meant to be used for His glory through service. In the different Bible Clubs, we identify gifts, nurture them, and give room for their manifestation in several ways. Many have grown to know about their gifts and ministries through the Bible Clubs and the CMA.
The CMA operates several ministries which allow the organisation to run effectively and advance the Kingdom of God here on earth. Below are some of the key areas of ministry of the CMA.
Evangelism & Discipleship
Evangelism and Discipleship is one of the main ministries of the CMA. We believe in proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of God and making Disciples across the world, teaching the doctrine of Jesus Christ and His Apostles, focusing of the Bible - The Word of God. We equally train brethren to be effective ministers in evangelism and discipleship through this ministry.
Intercession
Our organisation and fellowship is rooted on effective and continuous prayers and class levels in Bible Clubs and nationally. Our intercession entails praying for students, professionals, the health sector, Cameroon, and the world.
CMA Academia
Our organisation is founded on a firm belief that as Christian students and professionals, we must be EXCELLENT. Through the CMA Academia, we foster academic excellence through training sessions and webinars for both students and professionals, allowing our community to keep being the best in all spheres of endeavour.
The Ladies' Ministry
The Ladies' department of our organisation is special. The Ladies corner in the CMA has existed for over a decade and caters for ladies in the Bible Clubs and beyond. We also lay special emphasis on the family as we have seen many couples built through the CMA into happy homes.
EX-PATH Preparatory Classes
EX-PATH means 'The Pathway to Excellence'. The Christian Medical Association sponsors its own preparatory group to teach and mentor secondary school children into major professional schools in Cameroon through the Ex-path platform. Through our teachers (CMA members), we ensure that excellent training is offered to students in Medicine, Engineering, Teaching and across other fields. It is also the introductory route into the gospel for the students we teach who usually become fellow CMA members.
CMA Outreach
We have several outreach models, but our flagship outreach at the CMA is Medical Missions. Medical Missions is a unique opportunity for us to serve God and humanity. Our medical teams travel to rural communities to preach the gospel and offer free healthcare. We are always on the look for opportunities to serve through medical missions and we welcome new partnerships for Kingdom service.
